1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OFFICECO LTD website and services. By accessing our website or using our equipment rental and leasing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to OFFICECO LTD
  • "Customer" refers to any individual or entity that rents or leases equipment from the Company
  • "Equipment" refers to any machinery, tools, vehicles, or other items available for rental or lease
  • "Rental Agreement" refers to the specific agreement entered into for each rental transaction

3. Rental Services

3.1 Equipment Availability

All equipment is subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute equipment of similar quality and specifications if the requested equipment is unavailable.

3.2 Rental Period

The rental period begins on the date specified in the Rental Agreement and continues until the equipment is returned to us in acceptable condition. Minimum rental periods may apply.

3.3 Rental Rates

Rental rates are as quoted at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice until a Rental Agreement is signed. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

4. Customer Obligations

4.1 Use of Equipment

The Customer agrees to:

  • Use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Operate the equipment only by qualified and authorized personnel
  • Maintain the equipment in good condition and return it in the same condition as received
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Uses

The Customer must not:

  • Modify, alter, or tamper with the equipment without written consent
  • Sublet or assign the equipment to third parties
  • Use the equipment for illegal purposes
  • Remove any identification marks or labels from the equipment

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Requirements

Payment terms are specified in the Rental Agreement. Generally, payment is required in advance or according to the agreed payment schedule. We accept various payment methods as specified in the agreement.

5.2 Late Payment

Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in suspension of services or termination of the Rental Agreement.

5.3 Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required before equipment is released. This deposit will be refunded upon return of equipment in acceptable condition, minus any charges for damage or additional fees.

6. Damage and Loss

6.1 Customer Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of the equipment during the rental period, except for normal wear and tear. The Customer must report any damage immediately.

6.2 Repair Costs

Repair costs for damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the Customer. If equipment is damaged beyond repair, the Customer will be charged the replacement value.

7. Insurance

The Customer is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for the rented equipment. We may require proof of insurance before releasing equipment. The Customer must maintain insurance throughout the rental period.

8. Return of Equipment

Equipment must be returned on the date and time specified in the Rental Agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges. Equipment must be returned in clean condition and in the same working order as when received, subject to normal wear and tear.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the rental charges paid. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the equipment.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate a Rental Agreement immediately if the Customer breaches these Terms or fails to make payments. Upon termination, the Customer must immediately return all equipment.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
